The Global Events Team is looking for an event leader with global and executive experience. This person must be able to develop, scale, analyze and lead multiple event programs, strategies and planners around the world and develop, operationalize and scale global, internal programs to encourage associate engagement, recognition, team building and trainings for the company. Job Responsibilities:Lead, develop, and coach a small team of event planners. Charged with developing effective branded, event activations which result in achieving organizational objections for global expansion and delivering transformational experiences for attendees. Defines engagement metrics for live + virtual events and path to achieving them.Develops and manages processes to ensure quality assurance, risk mitigation, cost savings and efficiencies. Responsible for collaborating and proactively communicating with project stakeholders, internal and external partners to define event program objectives, requirements, scope, timing and budgets. Researches best practices and understands Blue Yonder’s company culture and values to choose appropriate event mediums to effectively communicate intended information, engage associates and achieve goals. Solicit, recommend and manage relationships with external vendors, including but not limited to production, experiential agencies, venues and various integral vendors. Oversee all event logistics (including but not limited to) virtual platform, travel, housing, venue/vendor selection, production, transportation, shipping, speaker recruitment & management, promotions, preparation materials, registration, AV, meeting coordination, contract management, staffing, etc. Oversee all associate logistics, communications, registration, housing, and travel for the large annual marquee event. Develop event budgets and project plans, compile and reconcile event revenue and expenses, adhering to company processes and policies. Ensure revenue/expenses are properly forecasted each month and budget is upheld for each event. Oversee vendor MSAs, RFPs and negotiations with global procurement terms. Apply creativity in event planning, promotions and execution to deliver memorable, value-driven events. Remain cool under pressure, agile while juggling multiple projects simultaneously and deliver world-class customer service. Communicate clearly and with confidence. Understand and embrace industry best practices, regulations and company policies and procedures. Experience with communicating event objectives, goals and results to key stakeholders across the organization. Bringing a creative, action-focused approach to problem-solving. Working with a high degree of autonomy and able to self-motivate in ambiguous circumstances. Experience developing, scaling and executing large, multi-day events, roadshow programs, incentive programs, global sales kick-offs and educational training seminars worldwide. Experience leading, managing and coordinating work of event planners, content developers, designers, creative services, and vendors. History of breaking new ground with events and delivering transformational experiences that impress associates, turning them into brand evangelists. Core skills should include accurate time estimating, capacity planning, identifying dependencies and resources/cost estimates, scaling and strong analytical capacity with experience presenting and communicating findings to a variety of stakeholders, including senior management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects stimultaneiously, prioritize, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, deliver results and stay within budget. Global cultural orientation and working experience. Must be fluent in Microsoft applications and comfortable learning new software and technology as needed. -------------------------------------------The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
