Process Improvement Engineer

The Art & Science of Real comes to life within our facilities located in New Jersey and Arizona — combining the knowledge of hundreds of luxury experts with cutting-edge, proprietary technology.  As a Process Improvement Engineer, you will be tasked with driving efficiencies throughout the outbound network. This will be achieved by learning processes, identifying opportunities, and communicating and implementing recommendations. You will work to stabilize and improve current processes, and directly contribute to the design and launch of new processes, including best-in-class automated solutions. What you get to do everyday Process observations and time studies- Recognize elements to capture, accurately record and summarize findings Process simulation - Understand simulation logic and calculations, create simulations to compare process options Workstation design- Identify inefficiencies, test and implement changes Facilities design- Calculate distributions of space including inventory storage, create production floor plans based on known workstation designs, propose optimal flows Develop Best Practices- Define the most efficient and safe methods to complete assignments, based on observations and collected data Training- Train the trainers on recommended Best Practices Engineered labor standards - Collect data for, and develop labor models based on Best Practices Labor planning- Develop and drive planning tools Performance management- Understand KPIs and relevant metrics, create and maintain relevant tools and reporting, use reporting to recommend and drive improvement Root cause analysis- Trace back process steps to find the true source of issues, identify those that are not Presentation- Effectively communicate findings and answer related questions to audiences within project scopes. What you bring to the role MInimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or related field 3 years experience- Using Lean tools and methodologies Workspace design Capacity planning Developing work standards Staff planning and labor modeling Preferred Requirements: MOST certification Lean Six Sigma green belt Moderate AutoCAD experience LMS implementation or maintenance experience   The expected salary range for this role is $77,878.00 - $93,687.00 . To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
