This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Calix is looking for a Summer intern to join our Partner team. In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on-the-job learning. This opportunity will provide education into the Calix Partner Program and how partners are engaged and supported so that they can be advocates for Calix products and services. This role will provide exposure to various products, solutions, sales teams, and partner organizations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales, business partnerships, or marketing and wants to optimize new ways to support our partners and enable growth of our joint customer bases. This is an exciting opportunity for any aspiring Sales, Business or Marketing student to come into a high growth, fast paced environment and get hands-on experience supporting partners in a SaaS environment. The duration of the program is expected to be 90 days.Responsibilities and Duties: Working with key internal stakeholders to support BISV Partner Program initiatives .Researching partners and gathering information on their competitive landscapes and key differentiators. Assist with general data clean up initiatives. Creating data-driven materials to assist the Calix sales team with knowledge of our partners. Assist with internal process design and documentation. Assisting with managing and updating the internal BISV partner wiki. Work cross functionally with the technical integration team to support partners, as necessary. Qualifications: Working towards marketing/communication/business/sales degree. Excel and data entry experience. Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred. Comfortable with technology and learning new applications and platforms. Team player. Experience in a role or project requiring analytical problem solving and analysis. Effective communication skills with all levels of an organization. Detail oriented. Available to work effectively in a remote environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environments. Microsoft Office software suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in their Junior or Senior year of college.Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education (i.e. year in school).There are different ranges applied to specific locations.
