As a key member of a high-impact team, we are looking for someone who wakes up every day excited to deliver impactful experiences for our people leaders and Workmates by advancing Workday on our path to becoming a Skills Based Organization (SBO).About the RoleAs a Senior Skills Program Manager you will be part of the Skills Based Organization (SBO) team within Workday’s People and Purpose organization. The mission of the SBO team is to transform Workday into a Skills-Based Organization in order to drive new levels of performance within Workday and for our customers. To do this, the SBO team leads an enterprise program that integrates skills into all of Workday’s talent practices – ranging from hiring and upskilling to career mobility and development to strategic workforce planning and performance management. In this newly created role, you will innovate, collaborate, influence and drive program execution with the Skills Director, workstream leaders, people business partners, and business teams.About YouLead and provide program management for key initiatives within the Skills-Based Organization program.Develop and implement enterprise-wide skills solutions from discovery and design to project planning and execution to change management and implementation.Proactively partner with project team and sponsors to analyze issues and risks, drive issue resolutionBuild trust-based relationships with key partners to drive alignment, collaboration, and feedbackSupport development and execution of communication and enablement initiatives to inspire change, and drive successful initiative launches & sustainmentAlign schedules, priorities, and resources across multiple parallel workstreamsPartner with Workday on Workday (WoW) and People Operations on the planning, development and deployment of system improvements for the Skills strategyEstablish, maintain, and present regular status updates to key business partners and project leadership (including project updates across tools; managing goals and other metric tracking)Be at the center of how Skills is evolving organizations, one of the most consequential talent movements in recent years!Basic Qualifications8+ years as a Program Manager or equivalentTrack record building large scale global processes and leading projects end–to-end with multiple partners that require change strategy and communicationTrack record of delivering operational excellence and implementing high quality outcomesStrong business insight to anticipate the impact of business events on talent needsExperience using data to generate insights and enable evidence-based decision makingExperience connecting talent systems, processes, data across the talent cycleStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to define, measure and communicate program successOther QualificationsExperience in an HR, Talent Management, or technology product managementExperience in building and implementing skills strategies (like skills inventories, or embedding skills into a talent practices)Experience defining and shaping technology solutions to support talent needsAgile, self-directed and adapts well to changeStrong collaboration and influencing capabilityWorkday HCM experience is a plus!Workday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
