Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Knowledge on OS fundamentals Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and their applications Hands-on experience for embedded SW development using C/C++ or Java Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols and key concepts Good analytical and problem-solving skills Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate project status and plan across teams Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways Preferred: Knowledge of IEEE 802.11/WiFi Protocols Experience with Linux / Unix kernel networking stack Understanding of OO design principles and design patterns Description Description As WiFi team member, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing WiFi networking subsystem software across Apple products including iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. You will also be working across software stacks (Frameworks and API, UI, OS services, and drivers) to maintain and productize features collaboratively with the hardware and software teams within all of Apple. You will be expected to own, drive and execute the full software development cycle - from the ideation, design, implementation, to testing and measuring the success of the feature you develop. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,100 and $208,300 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
