That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.The Role As a Supervisor for the Deals Desk - Renewals Compliance team, your goal is to support the sales process by ensuring the creation of accurate and timely renewal quotes.  You will be the initial point of pricing escalations for your team’s territory, using various pricing techniques and strategies to ensure Proofpoint’s offering remains competitive and profitable. In addition, you will function as the day-to-day leader of the specialists reporting into you.This position is a prime opportunity for someone looking to grow their career as a people leader, while working directly with a broad range of organizational stakeholders in finance, sales and the product organizations.Your day-to-day Reviewing renewal quote estimates, with a high attention to detail.Assist in creating renewal quotes that follow company guidelines and expectationsUnderstanding of Proofpoint’s pricing dynamics, customer trends, and margin targets.Developing a deep understanding of Proofpoint products and processesBe first point of contact for any non-standard pricing requests prior to further escalation.Working directly with Sales Representatives, Deals Desk, and Sales Operations, to accurately review historical customer information.Coordinate deal booking requirements with cross-functional teams.Drive projects on various topics ranging from new product introductions, post-merger integration of acquired portfolios, ongoing organizational integration, etc.What you bring to the teamExperience in leading a Deal Desk, sales operations, functional sales support or order management team is preferred; experience with software/SaaS business is a plus.Self-motivated with a knack for being detail oriented while in a high-pressure environmentCompelling people/customer service skills with demonstrated ability in creating effective and collaborative relationships with internal business unitsEffective decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data sets for justificationAbility to think outside the box, while understanding and enforcing standard pricing strategiesBasic understanding of revenue and auditing requirementsExcellent analytical skills and enjoys working with numbersWorking knowledge of SFDC and basic MS Excel formulas are highly recommendedWhy ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and a driven-to-win organization with leading-edge products.
