Job DescriptionWhere you’ll work: Boston, MA; May telecommute from any location within the continental U.S. As a Principal Workday Solutions Architect, the position requires:Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects.Lead and drive the design and delivery of high-quality functional and integration capabilities within Workday (HCM & Recruiting) including requirements gathering, design, implementation, E2E and UAT testing, deployment, and post-production support.Promote cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation while working in an agile framework.Map business processes to HCM Business Process, identify strategies, risks, and options when gaps are identified and recommend approaches and mitigations to meet business requirements while staying consistent with native architecture.Maintain awareness of current trends and new Workday functionality, providing recommendations to HR Leadership and functional departments on how to take advantage of these new functionalities.Mentor, guide, and actively share knowledge across all team members to enhance in-house expertise.Provide frequent and clear communications regarding the status of initiatives, keeping stakeholders informed of changes and work that is in progress.Work with Director, HR and Finance Business Systems to lead strategic and tactical planning and build strategic roadmap.Plan, design, configure, and test integrations between internal systems and external vendors.Lead team in developing actionable, proactive reports, manager and executive level dashboards and metrics that offer strategic insights for HR and functional leaders.Maintain integration & functional documentation and training materials.What We’re Looking For:As a Principal Workday Solutions Architect, the minimum requirements are:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems Technologies, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, IT Consultant, Integration Developer, or a related field. Position requires five (5) years of experience with the following:Designing and building software or system integrations;Workday implementation, including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development testing, and deployment;Utilizing integration technologies, including Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Report Designer, Web Services (SOAP or REST), Document Transformation (DT), and Core Connectors; andConfiguration in three (3) of the following modules: HCM, Talent & Performance, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Security, Onboarding, Reporting & Analytics, Recruiting.At GoTo, we’re passionate about growing a diverse and inclusive work ecosystem because unique takes make us a stronger company, and Stronger Together.
