Reporting to the Director of Events, the Event Specialist will help manage the pre-planning and onsite execution of 40+ events annually, ensuring that every aspect of the event is aligned with the marketing priorities for each brand.  The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build successful event experiences that deliver value to customers, influence pipelines, and build brand affinity.  The ideal candidate is resourceful, attentive to detail, and effective at managing multiple projects at one time. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This individual must be able to work collaboratively with numerous internal teams and stakeholders.  This is a unique opportunity to create event experiences that will generate pipeline and help our existing customers succeed.  **We will consider remote candidates**What you'll do:Trade shows: Execution of 40+ trade show programs annually, in alliance with marketing goals and priorities. Manage and plan tradeshows from start to finish including: registration, booth orders, resource management, vendor relations, and meeting deliverables. Serve as the project manager for all groups involved in the creation of tradeshows – creative, sales, demand generation, exhibit builders, etc. Work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure they are prepared for shows and have all the resources they need.Collaborate on the development and creation of new and existing event marketing campaigns that can be leveraged for upcoming tradeshows and events. Partner / industry event sponsorships :Manage annual sponsorships for 10-15 national and regional association and partner events Liaison with partner organizations and associations on brand / logo placement, giveaways, collateral and onsite presence User conferences :Work collaboratively with the entire events team to support planning and execution of 2 user conferences per year including but not limited to: Partner with legal to process all exhibitor and sponsorship contracts Partner with procurement and accounting to process all exhibitor and sponsorship invoices Liaison with partner organizations and sponsors on booth management in expo hallsWhat you'll bring:4+ years of experience in corporate and/or field marketing event management, preferably in the B2B2C SaaS/cloud space.Demonstrated experience in managing, planning, and executing events while delivering within budgetary parameters.Self-starter, willing and able to proactively drive event planning and execution within scope, and comfortable executing the A-to-Z details for a variety of event formats. Ability to work with a variety of personalities and all levels of management.Enthusiastic, flexible, team player, with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.Experience in Salesforce, Google Suite, Cvent and Airtable preferred.Ability to travel up to 25%.CMP certification preferred. Be Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list.
