Smartsheet is looking for an Account Executive (EMEA) to join our Select Accounts team in the Large Enterprise organisation. You will be responsible for increasing software sales and driving expansion across a large territory of Global 2000 Accounts and will report to our Regional Director, Large Enterprise - Select Accounts (EMEA).
Responsibilities:
Exceed quarterly and annual software and services sales quotas by driving expansion sales within a portfolio of accounts that are in early-stage maturity with Smartsheet
Lead primary and secondary account teams by partnering with Sales Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales Development
Develop short and long-term growth and renewal strategies across your customer base
Execute complex, high-value solution-based sales processes
Proactively develop unsolicited proposals that align with customer initiatives and position Smartsheet as an enterprise software solution provider
Accurately forecast sales opportunities, while tracking and using critical metrics that predict sales success
Use Smartsheet in the execution of daily sales activities
Track all relevant sales activity using the company's CRM platform
Requirements:
Demonstrated enterprise sales success, with a track record of exceeding assigned quotas and receiving recognition for high-performance
5+ years experience selling enterprise software, preferably emerging SaaS solutions
Demonstrable experience building relationships with Global 2000 senior line-of-business and IT executives, as well as operational managers
Proven ability to manage a large and diverse pipeline of sales opportunities
Proven experience in developing successful go-to-market strategies
Demonstrable experience executing complex, solution-based strategic sales processes
Proven experience working in a fast-paced, evolving, high-growth company
Demonstrable ability to leverage sales methodologies (e.g. The Challenger Sale)
Comfort in ambiguity with the ability to translate complexity into clarity
High humility with a mindset of continuous improvement
Curious, creative and able to respectfully challenge
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally within the organisation, and thrive in a collaborative environment
Motivate and lead to embody Smartsheet’s core values and operate with grit and a sense of urgency
