Strong business acumen, communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills will be critical to help build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.This role reports directly to the VP of Industry & Portfolio Marketing.ResponsibilitiesStrategy/PlanningCreate cross-organizational strategy for SEO, content planning, creation, publishing, and measurementEnsure content is created with a distribution-first mindsetPartner with audience experts to turn insights into content that helps customers achieve their business outcomesDevelop and manage a centralized editorial calendar to establish visibility into all content created via a content marketing platform (CMP)Co-own/co-manage requirements definition, selection, & implementation of content technologyImplement a cross-functional content council to foster collaboration and best practice sharingProductionStandardize and streamline content production processes to ensure efficiency & business strategy alignmentBuild a content factory/engine to scale content production across all stages of the buyers’ journey to drive higher traffic and engagementEstablish standardized guidelines to ensure content quality, consistency, and brand adherenceDevelop digital content publishing strategies that engage & move audiences across the lifecycleWork across teams to coordinate, curate, and produce content that drives customer outcomesExecution/Measurement/OptimizationDefine & oversee content measurement and KPIs to ensure content performance & optimizationImplement best practices for content hygiene and maintenance to ensure optimum content performanceMinimum QualificationsYou have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in global content-centric marketing roles in the software & technology sectorYou are a proven expert in modern content marketing and strategy best practicesHave experience across marketing disciplines such as: brand, search, product marketing, demand gen, and ABMYou are a clear, concise writer, editor, and content producer with the ability to nurture that skill in othersFamiliar with lead-nurturing practices to attract and build audiences with hyper-relevant contentYou have some experience with AI to automate content production and optimizationYou have a firm grasp of overall business strategy, marketing goals, and how content fuels business outcomesYou have excellent communication and influencing skills, proven executive presentation experience, and a proven ability to communicate across an ecosystem of influencers, stakeholders, and global teamsYou have proven leadership experience managing creative teams, including writers, designers & developers; You inspire and lead people to define goals and deliver resultsYou have demonstrated global expertise, including regional awareness, and localization requirementsHave strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, and the ability to influence others and drive decisionsYou have familiarity with technology platforms that organize, structure, and deliver content across digital touchpointsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $201,500 and $326,040. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
