Senior Financial AnalystDescription -Looking for seasoned financial professional with experience with Business Partner Support and Strategic Financial Support.What a Senior Financial Analyst for Digital Services does:Leads New Service Introductions (“NSI’s”) for Digital Service Finance perspectiveWorks closely with Business team supporting business strategy and transformation of the business towards Software/Service/SaaS business modelsParticipates in LTP, Budget, Capital Optimizer, Business Cases, Project ManagementUses KPI’s and SaaS metrics to provide business insightsDrive business decisions based on metrics and dataProvides mentoring and guidance to analysts and peers, especially in software and SaaSProvides the most complex financial analyses and displays deep understanding of business to convey best method for achieving objectives and “telling the story”Main responsibilities are:Financial modeling in support of NSI’s; actively participating in NSI checkpoint meetings, providing feedback on projects with a view to advancing projects from development to commercialization; aligning across stakeholders such as Sales Operations, CFR, Global Trade, RAR, to ensure accurate, consistent application of policies and processesWorks closely with Business Partners and Strategy team to incorporate business strategy into financial model/one-pagers and three- year planWorking with Strategy team to manage Investments and spending on Initiatives, as well as monitoring ROIPreparing financial analyses and monitoring Capital Optimizer projects, supporting quarterly governance processReporting KPI’s, including providing key inputs; reporting outputs and providing insights to Business Partners; building SaaS P&LDriving transformation by building capabilities and tools to support SaaS business modelProviding finance support for major initiatives such as internal controls, organization changes, M&A, integration, as neededEducation and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in finance and/or accounting; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferredBig 4 experience in combination with 10+ years experience as a financial analystExperienced in a variety of finance functions: public accounting, auditing, controllership, financial analysis, business planning; possessing an established HP network across these teams is a big plusUnderstanding sources of HP financial data, how to access it, and how to data mine it is a huge plusExperience working with cross functional teams; possess broad internal network, especially CFR, RAR, IMO, Markets Finance, Global TradeExperience developing, tracking, analyzing SaaS financial metricsExperience with business transformation, from hardware to software, or from perpetual to SaaS business modelOperational experience in Software and/or SaaS businessKnowledge and Skills: Self starter, belief that Speed MattersExcellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysisExcellent analytical skills and ability to apply professional judgmentExcellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, presentations)Excellent communication/Storytelling skillsSuperior datamining and analytical skillsSuperior teamwork skills, collaborative approachStrong business acumenGood project management skills.Ability to build relationship across teams and culturesAbility to learn quickly, adapt, accept challenges, perform, and take initiativeFlexibility with schedule and manage multiple time zonesJob -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
