We are hiring an In-Region Tester Engineering Program Manager (EPM) who is self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities to handle complex multi-functional projects. As one Test EPM in the New Technology organization, you will need to co-work with multi-functional teams including, but not limited to, Test, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, Process, Supply Chain & Logistics, Firmware and Software Engineering to deliver state-of-the-art instrumentation and test solutions. You will be responsible to monitor the tester schedule, manage testers in-region activities from design and development through deployment, identify program issues and spearhead solution/mitigation efforts quickly and efficiently in the field. Your goals are to ensure the tester activities are carried out solidly according to the given timeline. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Bachelor/Master in Technical background related to hardware and/or test development. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. 3~7 years of project management experience. Proficient in English Able to filter and distill relevant information for the right audiences. Self-motivated and proactive. Attention to detail. Proven creative and critical thinking capabilities. Forward thinking. Ability to inspire team members. Experienced with rapid design, development and production cycles. Capable of remaining calm in the face of uncertainties. Team player who can foster a collaborative environment. [Preferred Experience] - Knowledge of optical, display technologies. - Tester design experience. - Operations experience in a manufacturing environment. - Intensive Traveling required (50 - 70%). - Preferred base location in Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenzhen Description Description - Lead multi-functional communication between Apple Internal project teams and external vendors. - Work with Engineering Management and Vendors as per testing plan, and track, communicate and call out as appropriate. - Drive factory line readiness for tester bring-up - Drive overall tester readiness, day to day build report management, DOE execution, MILs and FACA. - Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management.
