Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.Responsibilities: Collaborate with product owners and other application developers to design, code, and maintain high quality, cloud-based applications against established processes in a scrum team settingWork with software teams to ensure alignment of architecture to user requirementsOccasionally provide technical assistance to escalated production issuesMaintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability of new software technologies to platform development effortsRequirements: Extensive knowledge and experience with C#, .Net, PythonExperience with data persistence technologies (such as SQL, PostgreSql)Experience with Web APIs Deep understanding of microservices architecture, web security architecture, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and other architectural patternsProficient with source control management and Configuration Management practices (git, jenkins, etc)Extensive experience writing high quality unit tests against mock objectsGood understanding of object oriented analysis and designDemonstrated success in collaborating in a fast-paced team environment and delivering high-quality software products using established agile development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.) against formal schedules Desired:Experience with coding with Java, WPF, JavaScriptExperience with Liquid Handling Robots is a major plusUnderstanding of Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field of biologyPossess proven troubleshooting skillsBe curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quicklyBe customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasksHave proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationshipsHave proven verbal and written communication skillsListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position.  Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.The estimated base salary range for the Sr Software Engineer role based in the United States of America is: $126,800 - $190,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
