Responsibilities
Supporting management in defining and adapting the information security guideline and advising on all information security issues; this also includes assistance in resolving conflicting objectives (e.g., profitability versus information security)
Draw up and constantly review information security guidelines and, if necessary, other relevant regulations
Manage and coordinate the information security process within the institute, as well as monitoring this process vis-à-vis IT service providers and assisting with all related tasks
Participate in the creation and updating of the emergency concept with regard to information security issues
Initiate and monitor the implementation of information security measures
Monitor and work towards compliance with information security in projects and procurements
be available as the contact person for information security issues within the institute and for third parties
Investigate and report information security incidents to senior management
Initiate and coordinate information security awareness and training activities
Requirements
Knowledge and experience regarding BAIT - (Prudential Requirements for IT)
Physical presence in the BitGo Office in Frankfurt a.M. 5 days a week
1-2+ years of operations experience preferred OR a Bachelor's Degree/Advanced Degree with an interest in working within IT - Services/Cryptocurrency
Highly effective verbal and written communication in German and English
Basic IT-Know-How and interest in recent technologies
Highly organized with IT-tools like emails, spreadsheets, databases
Attention to detail and a commitment to constant improvement
High sense of urgency when servicing external and internal clients
Analytical skills, positive attitude, active listening and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines
A team player with strong judgment and decision making skills
Basic knowledge or the commitment to build up know-how regarding EBA Guidelines on ICT and Security Risk Management and GDPR
