The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Global Operations Department in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of the department. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products. The role will focus on the successful completion of technical projects, process improvement, documentation, and presentation of results at the end of the program.Project Summary We would like an engineering intern to help with process flow, rate attainment, quality, KPI's and package improvements.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a detailed understanding of all Plug Power productsWork with senior level engineers and management to interpret and analyze dataUnderstand engineering concepts and how to appropriately apply them in day to day projectsAbility to critically analyze data in terms of system performance and reliabilityRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactionsPerform all other duties as assignedEducation and QualificationPursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or a related programBackground/experience with statistical analysisComputer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task effectivelyDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailExcellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivatedMust possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work qualityPay Rate:$20.07 - $26.90Plug Power Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
