As a Sr. Security Analytics Engineer at Adobe, you will be joining a team responsible for building an outstanding security data platform from the ground up. Our focus is on providing value to the organization by emphasizing real-world security and adopting automation, as well as optimizing data flow and collection from multi-functional teams. The ideal candidate is an expert data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems. The Sr. Security Analytics Engineer will support our software developers, database architects, and data analysts on data initiatives and will ensure efficient data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing our company’s data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.What you will work onDesign, configure, optimize, manage, monitor, document, and support platform services and components, as well as supporting enterprise data ingestion.Assemble petabyte-scale, sophisticated data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.Develop set processes for analytics, data modeling, and data production.Partner with multiple engineering teams on internal-facing security and privacy initiatives, ensuring that security data accessibility, quality, and reliability are considered.Engage with ML researchers and stay up to date on the latest trends from industry and academia.Evaluating external tooling, developing new automation, and tooling.Helping to rapidly scale the platform. As a member of the team, you'll be an integral part of how we mature our own tooling, standard methodologies, and engineering processes. About you5-10 years of working on backend infrastructure/data systems or with application/infrastructure logging pipelines.4+ years of experience in Security Engineering or related experience.Experience writing code, designing systems and data workflows, optimizing data processing algorithms, and systems to support security data analytics.Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with databases.Familiarity with Spark (PySpark) and related cloud tools (Databricks, etc.). Know how to deploy a Spark job in the cloud.In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and its associated security suites (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.).Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.Familiarity with modern infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kinesis.Relevant development experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.Strong communicator with both words and data - you understand what it takes to go from raw Security data to something a human understands.Detection and Response experience (Detection Engineering, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, and/or Threat Intelligence). Nice to have:Experience with LLM deployment, fine-tuning, training, prompt engineering, etc.Experience with LLM inference latency optimization techniques, e.g. kernel fusion, quantization, dynamic batching, etc.Experience with CUDA, model compilers, and other model-specific optimizations. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
