Your potential is waiting; why are you?Job Description:Summary:Reporting to the Sr. Director, Financial Control Oversight (FCO), the Manager, FCO, is responsible for participating in various controls and strategic initiatives across the Chief Accounting Officer’s (CAO) organization. You will work closely with the business to establish processes/controls, influence and collaborate in large scale system implementations and enterprise-wide initiatives.The successful candidate will have a proven history of fostering relationships with key stakeholder groups as well as implementing well-adopted, stable, and sustainable controls and policies. The role is separate from SOX, although the FCO function is a key contributor to the success of the SOX program.This is a remote role based in US, preferred Eastern zone.Primary Responsibilities:Work across the CAO organization to address and implement internal control and process improvement initiativesDevelop and demonstrate an understanding of business processes, risks, and controlsCollaborate with the business to implement new controls or enhance control environment where necessaryWork closely with process owners to remediate controls deficiencies in a timely manner. Including but not limited to root cause analysis, prepares action plan, providing guidance over documentation to evidence control activities, and exposure analysis.Maintain and monitor Risk and Controls Matrix (RCM) and the associated process mapsDevelop/design of control environment when a new process or application is implemented.Development of management control policies and/or related implementation plans.Coordinating with SOX team over risks and controls.Begin to develop one or more areas of technical specialization and begin to serve as a technical partnerLead special or ad-hoc projectsLead other team members in various projects from beginning to endQualifications:Proven leader with 5+ years of experience and strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting obtained through positions held in SOX, accounting, finance, risk, control, internal and/or external audit.Continued interest and demonstrated proficiency on projects around various processes such R2R, OTC, P2P, etc.  Experience with audit software (i.e. Workiva, AuditBoard, etc.) and VisioStrong understanding of GAAP, COSO, and internal controls.Ability to work in globally dispersed team in a remote working environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as a member of the team in a fast-paced environmentMust have strong presentation, verbal, and written communications skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Professional certification: CPA or CA, CIA , CICA, CISA, etc.Public Accounting experienceExperience in a SaaS environment#LI-Remote#LI-DJ1Compensation:This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
