About The Role:
We are looking for a resourceful, growth-minded business owner to lead Rent the Runway’s lifecycle marketing program. The Senior Manager, Retention will build and run Rent the Runway’s lifecycle strategy across email, mobile push, SMS and direct mail and will be responsible for delivering on revenue goals from these channels. Additionally, this role will collaborate with cross-functional partners to build and run our marketing content program across CRM channels. The Sr. Manager, Retention will report to the Director, Revenue Growth.
What You’ll Do:
Build a best-in-class omnichannel lifecycle strategy across email, push, SMS and programmatic direct mail that enables personalized cross-channel comms to meet revenue goals.
Run an evergreen testing program to deliver always-on optimization of automated user journeys and flows across a variety of dimensions (creative, time of day, segmentation, triggers, etc.).
Own and run Rent the Runway’s engagement marketing content program, including:
Develop quarterly and monthly calendars in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders in the Revenue team (incl. Brand and Growth)
Develop and oversee the execution of creative briefs for new and existing campaigns
Define key metrics for our lifecycle program and channel-level performance; report on performance and business impact of lifecycle strategies on a weekly basis
Evaluate the effectiveness of our current CRM tool stack and partner with tech teams to develop best-in-class CRM capabilities as needed
Manage an external resource who supports with email slicing and campaign execution
Stay informed on market trends and retention best practices, including personalization, CRM flows, email deliverability, and innovative creative approaches.
About You:
Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience on a lifecycle marketing or growth team
Bias for action and a passion for solving complex problems
Not afraid of rolling up their sleeves - you’re a builder and a doer
Experience with Sailthru and Looker are a plus
Ability to work in a competitive, fast-paced and challenging environment and the want to work across multiple cross-functional teams.
Critical thinking and problem solving with a positive attitude is a must.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $115K to $145K. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
