Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About The Role:CrowdStrike Intelligence, a core component of CrowdStrike Counter Adversary Operations, is seeking to hire a Senior Intelligence Analyst for its Intelligence Analysis Cell (IAC) to focus on targeted intrusions and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This position will primarily conduct analysis on the structure, motivations, policies, and resources of adversarial cyber organizations of states in the region as well as other discrete topics including information operations and the hacktivist ecosystem. This position is instrumental in providing unique insight into the strategic context and operating environment of adversaries through finished intelligence products used by CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.What You'll Do:Analyze China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region and compose long- and short-form finished intelligence reports related to national and transnational events relevant to understand the dynamics of regional cyber adversaries.Research, assess, and report on specific cyber threat actor and adversary capabilities, motivations, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)Provide clear and concise written responses to customer requests for information (RFIs) and contribute to briefings where necessaryWork in a collaborative environment with other analysts, technical experts, and customer-facing personnelAssist in research prioritization efforts and intelligence gap identificationWhat You'll Need:Required:The ability to read Mandarin Chinese with high proficiency5+ years’ experience conducting research on Asia-Pacific geopolitical and transnational issues to include producing intelligence assessments and handling ad-hoc requests for information (RFIs)A strong understanding of Chinese government bureaucracies pertinent to understanding the country's disposition towards the use of cyber operations; knowledge of the country's military, intelligence, and public security organizations is particularly usefulIn-depth knowledge of Chinese and other regional states' foreign and domestic policies necessary to appropriately contextualize their behavior for various audiencesA general understanding of Chinese and other Asia-Pacific cyber adversaries, including their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and relationships to government entitiesAn ability to express complex technical and non-technical concepts verbally, graphically, and in writingExcellent English writing and open-source research skillsComprehensive practical knowledge of intelligence analysis and collection skillsAn analytic mindset capable of applying best practices such as structured analysis, awareness of biases and other pitfalls, and critical thinking in source evaluationUndergraduate degree in cybersecurity, general intelligence studies, security studies, criminal justice, political science, international relations; or equivalent military training and experience in a cyber intelligence/security MOSPreferred:A nuanced understanding of languages in the region (including Mandarin Chinese) to include knowledge about country- and region-level dialects and technical terminology.Formal foreign language training or professional competency in additional languages beyond Mandarin Chinese including but not limited to Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, Bahasa, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or ThaiGraduate or professional degrees in any of the aforementioned fieldsAbility to utilize graph analysis tools (e.g.,  i2 Analyst Notebook, Maltego) to create both working-level and presentation-grade visualization chartsExperience contributing to Computer Network Operations (CNO) campaign tracking, including working with technical indicators pertaining to malware and network infrastructure#LI-Remote#LI-AO1Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangements Comprehensive and inclusive health benefitsPhysical and mental wellness programsPaid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $90,000 - $150,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
