We are defining future of generated UI at Workday, join us for the adventure!About the RoleWe need an engineering leader to support a new Lodestar software project. This will be a multifunctional role, where you will have to lead engineers and product managers as they work to understand and spec the new system. There will be some technical specification work, as well as coaching engineers to balance ideal architecture against attainable work.About YouBasic Qualifications:A minimum of 2+ years of experience in software development and/or engineering management rolesLeadership and mentoring experience with a track record of building and leading successful engineering teamsExperience working with large-scale enterprise systems and cloud-based environmentsOther Qualifications:Expected to spend at least 50% of the time in-person at the Workday office in Boulder, COExcellent communication, facilitation skills, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues and roadblocksStrong Agile development background in a fast-paced and complex environmentConsistent track record of leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives2+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS)Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experienceWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
