You will be part of an international team that deeply values execution, passion, integrity, customers, and community. As a Client Solutions Architect (CSA), no two days will be the same! You will interact externally with customers from different lines of business across a variety of industries with a multitude of different requirements. Internally you will work with colleagues across the business from salespeople to delivery experts to highly skilled engineers and your peers. Your creativity coupled with your active listening and analytical skills will be key to positioning and selling the best services solutions to provide desired business outcomes and maximum value for our customers. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes in the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?The primary objective of a Client Solution Architect is to support the EUC team’s sales activities by engaging with customers at various levels, building trusted relationships and discovering customer needs that can be met by EUC Professional Service’s comprehensive services. You will work to develop a package of Professional Services that help the customer to meet their objectives and to maximize the value of their investment. As a CSA you will As a CSA you will integrate with the EUC Client Solution Architect community & learn how the Professional Services team operates to deliver high-quality and effective solutions for our customers. You will meet the wider VMware team, build relationships and start leveraging your knowledge and ideas in building solid approaches that will bring customers success. After 90 days you will function as a core member of your regional Client Solutions Architect team, transitioning to become a trusted advisor both internally to sales and delivery teams and externally to EUC customers. You will create customer-facing deliverables describing services proposals, digital transformation roadmaps and “to-be” digital architectures, helping customers achieve successful business outcomes.  From this point onwards, you will aim to solidify your technical and soft skills via the vast array of learning platforms made available to you by Broadcom. This enablement will include EUC products and services as well as other vendor technologies and new industry trends. You will demonstrate your knowledge and skillset across CSA communities and peers by mentoring junior CSAs, sharing best practices, writing articles, and contributing to the CSA knowledge base. Additionally, you will liaise with different teams, brainstorming, generating ideas to improve tools and processes and providing feedback from the field to Research & Development. You will work on solving complex customer business problems by crafting outcomes-focused transformational designs, roadmaps and professional services proposals. In addition, you will work on crafting adoption guides for existing customers ensuring maximum value to the client as well as building customer loyalty to the EUC portfolio. During your career as a Senior CSA, you will gain significant cross-industry experience and be expected to apply your superior problem-solving capabilities to drive successful business outcomes using VMware products and services for our customers. ​The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be promoting on a regular basis? You will be working directly with customers to actively listen, understand, challenge, and help to understand their business requirements Mapping EUC Professional Services to the customer’s desired business outcomes as part of the End User Computing team. You should be able to think past products and tailor end-to-end services solutions. To build effective services for a wide range of customers you will apply your knowledge in End User Computing. You will be proposing services that not only deliver technology change but also take into consideration people and processes. You will present, communicate, and validate your proposed solutions to our account teams and our customers using presentations, whiteboarding sessions, workshops, proposals, etc. You will support sales teams in building commercial proposals by developing sound and quantifiable technical solutions and content You will ensure a smooth handover to our services delivery team providing alignment between sales and delivery to assure customer satisfaction. You will act as a key contributor to account strategy and planning and align this with business unit strategies. You will support and mentor other members of the team. You will provide feedback to Professional Services Engineering regarding current service offerings along with generating new ideas for new offerings based on your knowledge from discussions with customers. You will take ownership of, or be an active contributor to initiatives and communities that help share knowledge and drive improvements across the CSA organization. You will be supported in setting up and achieving personal development goals. You will be coached and helped to author blogs, technical articles, and white papers. You will be expected to travel an average of 30% of the time across APJ as the business requires. Need Native level Japanese to communicate Japanese customersVMware is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: VMware is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
