Planning ExpertDescription -The Service Supply Chain (SSC) Planning Expert is responsible, but not limited to, for leading complex projects related to Planning process design, new systems / tools implementation and/or efficiency and business effectiveness gains. S/he will orchestrate x-regional teams to identify best practices and deploy them across the board.Responsibilities: Defines Planning Configuration aligned to business models and flowsDesign and development of New Planning capabilities - process flows and business requirements definitionDrives continuous improvement and optimization of the planning configuration to maximize planning accuracyDefines cycles and workflows in accordance with Planning infrastructure specifics and capabilitiesIdentifies and implements Best-practices working x-regionally and/or utilizing external benchmark;Establishes / re-enforces critical planning metrics / KPIs / business controls to ensure more efficient process and operational control;Performs complex data analysis, profiling, modeling and mapping.Leads and orchestrates cross-functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance.Owns strategic SSC planning projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.Education and Experience Required: Relevant university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.Past experience on jobs with strong analytical aspectsTypically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function would be an advantagePersonal skills and qualities:Strong Analytical & Math skillsExcellent data analyticsCritical thinking, ability to make judgement based on data and factsStrong Problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in EnglishOrganizational & Time management skills, ability to prioritize critical and important work / decisionsStrong communication skills to interact with suppliers, customers and other supply chain team membersExcellent team player, able to lead or orchestrate cross functional deliverables and initiativesHigh attention to detailsAble to apply tools and technology to produce resultsAble to understand global business processes and identify impact of changeStrong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units, with an understanding of emerging trendsWe’re looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
