Summer InternshipStatus: Non-Exempt (hourly)Department: 120 Human ResourcesLocation: 8 BA, Latham, NYPosition SummaryPlug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern. The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of the department’s projects. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products. The role will focus on the successful completion of projects, process improvement, documentation, and presentation of results atthe end of the program.Project Summary   Work with Talent Management team to support a variety of focus areas including performance management, onboarding, Workday Learning, LinkedIn Learning and other projectsSupport Diversity Equity and Inclusion with Employee Resource Groups and other employee engagement projectsWork with Internal Communications on a variety of projects to support broad organizational communication.Potential project work to support HR Operations, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition teamsCore Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresent Plug Power in a professional manner and in all interactions.Perform maintenance and development of talent management programsWillingness to learn and adapt to  priority changesAbility to independently work on projects and monitor progress.Perform all other duties as assignedEducation and QualificationPursuing a Bachelor of Science or master's degree in I/O Psychology, General Psychology, HR, or related field.Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.Have skills and intuitive knowledge to operate modern devices effectivelyArticulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to gain understanding.Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.Prior Internship or Co-op experience preferred.Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectivelyDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailPay Rate:$20.07 - $26.90Plug Power Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
