Job Requisition ID #23WD74283Position OverviewThe Director – Transfer Pricing will report to the Senior Director – Global Tax Planning & Strategy and be a member of a worldwide finance team that strives to be best-in-class. The successful candidate will join the tax group to gain an understanding of how public policy, corporate goals and business transformations, and tax intersect at a dynamic, public software company. How governments seek to tax multinational corporations is undergoing one of the largest public policy shifts in decades.The Autodesk Tax team is constantly adapting and evolving to new government rules and regulations. We are seeking an individual to join the Autodesk Tax team and lead Autodesk's transfer pricing strategy. We are seeking a candidate who will help drive a culture of accountability and excitement within the tax team. A successful candidate will join a tax team focused on building a world-class tax department. The Director of Transfer Pricing will be responsible for fostering a creative, innovative team environment in which Autodesk's worldwide tax compliance and planning are completed.Autodesk has a hybrid work environment and you can work anywhere in the US or Europe.ResponsibilitiesYou will develop global transfer pricing strategy and projects such as business supply chain planning, business restructurings, acquisition integration, etc.You will Identify new transfer pricing legislation across the globe and understand the potential impact to the CompanyYou will collaborate with business partners and interact with senior management and executives to develop a deep understanding of Autodesk's business, reconcile with the underlying data and develop a global strategic transfer pricing frameworkYou will develop transfer pricing controversy strategy and provide audit support for transfer pricing issues including analyzing local financials, identify/anticipate areas of weakness based on functional/risk analysis, and assist with preparation of audit-ready filesYou will support M&A, including preparing IP and legal entity valuations and preparing/reviewing intercompany transactionsYou will manage transfer pricing documentation process to ensure timely creation of transfer pricing reports on a global basisYou will guide the legal entity forecasting process working with regional and corporate finance teamsYou will help lead the tax digitalization of the transfer pricing functionMinimum Qualifications12+ years or equivalent experienceDegree(s): Master's degree in Economics/Math or Juris Doctorate; CPA/LLMDeep knowledge of corporate tax including international tax research, compliance and consultingConsiderable knowledge of performing market studies and industry researchAbility to perform financial / economic analyses and build financial valuation modelsExperience writing arguments and positions#LI-CV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $161,000 and $260,370. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
