Senior Data ScientistDescription -The TeamWe are an expanding team that helps HP use AI/ML technology, including both traditional ML methods (forecasting algorithms, recommender systems) and Generative AI and large language models. We work with business units mainly from the Commercial Organization to develop and run solutions for internal use.ResponsibilitiesUnderstands business requirements, engages with key stakeholders, coordinates analytics team, connects model results to business strategy, and produces recommendations that match business situation.Designs and implements models to discover patterns and predictions that generate business value and innovation.Leads complex cross-functional project, which involves several Data Scientists.Effectively collaborates with senior management.Develops clear presentations for business stakeholders and managers.Manages relationships with business partners to evaluate and foster data driven innovation, provide domain-specific expertise in cross-organization projects/initiatives.Requirements:Typically, 6-10 years of relevant work experience.Bachelor's, master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.Extensive experience using statistics, mathematics, algorithms, and programming languages to solve business problems.Experience with NLP, Large Language Models, LLM prompt engineering, vector databases, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and search engines.Ability to define and create complex ML models to pull valuable insights, predictions, and innovation from data.Ability to effectively communicate data insights and negotiate options at senior management levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Python.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.#LI-POSTJob -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Greece)Travel -NoRelocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
