Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.Tasks and Responsibilities:Coordinate new installations either directly or through channel partners, including facility inspections, assay validation and necessary knowledge to operate the installed systemProvide adequate support and troubleshooting and knowledge of the installed system on issues related to user’s technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software and instruments.Technically strong knowledge in troubling solution, with minum supervisionResponsible for ensuring partners carry out projects including demonstrations, feasibilities studies, and new product evaluationHelp to maintain and increase product usage, by giving technical presentations and demonstrationsManage the relationships with key stakeholders for the countryCreate and maintain support information in the company enterprise databaseCoordinate and communicate feedback to marketing and product development teams.Manage relationships with key stakeholders for field application purpose, communicate the feedback on product usage and maintenanceCross-functionally work with head office to facilitate meeting milestones and deliverables of the companyPresent in both pre and post-sales technical and scientific presentations to facilitate the key account managementAct as the subject matter expert in our market segments (Oncology, Genetic Testing, Reproductive Genetic Health, Applied or  Molecular Cell Biology) through pre sales and post sales activities.All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.Preferred Education:PhD in Science, Genetics, Molecular Biology or Bioinformatics required, or M.S. plus minimum 5 years of relevant experiencePreferred Experience:Demonstrated experience with next generation or high throughput sequencing sample prep technologies and protocols preferredDemonstrated understanding of commonly-used sequencing data analysis software applications preferredDemonstrated expertise and experience with handling and analyzing next-generation sequencing or array data is a huge plusOutstanding problem solving and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated written and verbal communication and training skillsDemonstrated ability to work within a matrixed teamStrong people skills, cross-organizational teamworkPrior field experience in using sequencing or array technologies preferredPast experience in a clinical lab or diagnostic environment is a plusPast experiences working with channel partners is a plusClear vision of and commitment to providing outstanding serviceExcellent communication skills in English and Thai.For non-Thai speaking candidates, command of another South East Asian language is a plusMust be willing to travel up to 50% of the timeIllumina believes that everyone has the ability to make an impact, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, citizenship status, and genetic information.
