This role is responsible to provide deep technical knowledge of SAP in order to 1) provide hands-on application support and to 2) partner with lab management teams to support the global equipment lifecycle.Responsibilities:Own and resolve application issues, engaging additional technical or functional resources as necessaryCollaborate deeply with the lab management, engineering, facilities, EHS and finance teams to design application solutions by analyzing business and functional requirements, studying and creatively leveraging standard capabilitiesSupport the equipment lifecycle by leading the execution of various lifecycle tasks (onboarding, move, decommission, master data updates, etc.)Document functional design and configuration specificationsPlay an active role in operational readiness testing for application systemsAssess change impact prior to change deploymentMonitor and resolve system integrity issuesAnalyze problems, diagnose them and find root cause, and then either creating a fix or engages business solutions team to collaboratively design a solutionRecreate steps taken by user to locate source problemProactively analyzes incident records and use data to identify problemsIdentify and propose approach to increase usabilityStay abreast of SAP applications developmentManage multiple prioritiesMaintain active communication with various business and technical stakeholders to manage expectations regarding changes to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionalityExperience/Education:Typically requires a Bachelors Degree OR 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience. #LI-HYBRIDAt Illumina, we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace by cultivating an environment in which everyone contributes to our mission.
