In this role, you will support the Category and Sales of HP’s Hybrid Systems Portfolio. Here, we partner with teams across the globe to maximize our digital interaction and evolve the business model to drive sales, revenue and most importantly, a frictionless customer experience. You will report to the leader of Hybrid Systems / Accessories Category Manager for North West Europe.As the Commercial Category Manager for UK & Ireland, you will own the product decisions and P&L as well as a different pool of resources to help position a wide range of interesting and next generation products to our customers and partners. You will work along the sales and business development units to help defining the strategy and positioning the right Hybrid Systems portfolio for both our Commercial channels.Your leadership will help to shape the plans and guidance to sales teams, our route to market strategies and grow the value of HP’s Peripherals positioning.Responsibilities: Owns the Peripherals category business plan – and its sales and marketing implementation across different route to marketDeep understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.Manage the 4P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promo) and being accountable for efficient resource deployment, profitable target achievement and plans execution for the HP Peripherals product lines.Managing the detailed and executive engagement of the business with both the Central category and Sales teams. Effectively inspiring, coaching and motivating the cross-functional team to exceed unit, revenue, and margin goals.Product line and quota responsibility for the Peripherals product rangeResponsible for accurate forecasting and business management across a number of metrics (revenue, share, margin)Ensure availability in product line-ups and responsiveness to dynamically changing seasonal requirements and competitive market pressures.Possessing product and go-to-market expertise and defending the benefits in front of customers or partnersLaunching profitable, Time-to-Market product roadmaps and managing life cycle through End-of-Life.Constantly monitoring the competition's landscape and quickly assessing areas of weakness and opportunities.Developing the framework for success with commercial partners and End user customersConduct existing pipeline reviews with the sales team and identify opportunities to add hybrid systems – upsell to full portfolio.Developing and executing B2B account-based marketing campaigns for different partner sets (distribution, partners, CEP)Promote and raise the profile of the Hybrid Systems offerings, ensuring that the company achieves positive brand equity and captures market/mind share.Basic Qualifications for Consideration: Bachelor's degree or master’s degree is preferred Typically, 7+ years related experience with a combination of product management, sales, business planning preferredExperience in peripherals/accessories is a plus Knowledge and skillsStrong Category Management and sales skills, P&L acumen and strong analytical abilities (Excel proficiency critical)Excellent communication skills at senior management internally and externallyDeep understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel.
