Business Management LeadDescription -Digital Services – Business Management LeadDescription:We manage financial aspects of Business Management Process (Operations Review, Flash, Actuals, SBTN, QBW, Budget, LTP) for Digital Services.  As Digital Services transforms and builds its SaaS business, we are partnering to drive business transformation, process improvement and sound compliance processes.  The successful candidate can see the big picture as well keep track of the details. What a Senior Financial Analyst for Digital Services does:Leads finance aspects of BMS Process for Digital Services, including Actuals, Flash, Budget, Monthly operations reviewDevelops and implements new processes where needed: WS is a new Global Business Unit and is still developing its processes; the successful candidate has opportunity to build processes to support new business models that drive growth and transformation at HP including:  tracking SaaS metrics and reporting, implementing software accounting, forecasting, compliance processes for software offerings (including CFR, Global Trade, contract management)Integrates New Service Offerings into production environment, leading initiatives with cross functional teamsProvides mentoring and guidance to analysts and peers, especially in the area of software and SaaSProvides the most complex financial analyses and displays deep understanding of business to convey best method for achieving objectives and “telling the story”Main responsibilities are:Ownership of software revenue waterfall, actuals and flash; reporting key metrics and trends in order to provide Insights and Escalate IssuesBudget planning and forecasting including: leading monthly forecast reviews and $ finalisation, FoF, QoQ, YoY variance analysis and story behind the numbersDevelopment of Quota and support to sales compensation teamUnderstanding impact of New Service Introductions, including revenue recognition, operationalizing go to market, accounting system design, Global TradeEnsuring timelines are met with accuracy, in a compliant mannerProvide training and support to aid in transition to Subscription Software and SaaS business modelsLead, design and improve financial analyses to drive better business and financial resultsAnalyses of contracts in order to ensure correct revenue recognition and accounting processes in placeEducation and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in finance and/or accounting; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferredBig 4 experience in combination with 8+ years experience as a financial analystExperienced in a variety of finance functions: public accounting, auditing, controllership, financial analysis, business planningExperience working with cross functional teams; possess broad internal network, especially CFR, RAR, IMO, Markets Finance, Global TradeExpertise in software revenue accounting standardsExperience developing, tracking, analyzing SaaS financial metricsExperience with business transformation, from hardware to software, or from perpetual to SaaS business modelKnowledge and Skills: Self starter, belief that Speed MattersExcellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysisExcellent analytical skills and ability to apply professional judgmentExcellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, presentations)Excellent communication/Storytelling skillsSuperior teamwork skills, collaborative approachStrong business acumenGood project management skills.Ability to build relationship across teams and culturesAbility to learn quickly, adapt, accept challenges, perform and take initiativeFlexibility with schedule and manage multiple time zonesSupervisory skills are a plusJob -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -NoRelocation -NoEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
