Senior Director, Executive SearchDescription -HP's People Organization is going through an incredible transformation to become Future Ready. In our Recruiting & Onboarding team, we're revolutionizing our recruitment process to elevate the experience for our stakeholders, hiring managers, and candidates. As part of our Future Ready strategy, it's key to have the right leaders in the right positions. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that HP's leadership has the absolute best talent in place. The Global Executive Recruiting Senior Director will be based in the U.S where most of the executive hiring is done and will report to the SVP Global Recruiting and Onboarding Organization (GRO). This exciting leadership role will be accountable for key strategies to elevate the executive recruiting experience:Team Leadership Leads a team of about 10-12 that includes Executive Recruiters, at multiple levels, as well as Project Coordinators and Researchers, who partner with the most senior leaders in the company, (i.e., ELT, SVPs and VPs) to support the hiring of over 250 internal and external requisitions for Directors and above positions per year. Strategic Leadership Responsible for developing a global executive recruiting strategy integrating technology, data analytics, and insights to identify the leadership needs, anticipate talent trends and align our executive recruiting efforts to the evolving business needs. Provides thought leadership on how to position our employer brand for senior leaders in the market and builds a framework on how to approach external talent, engage with them and build interest in potential opportunities at HP.Stakeholder Enablement Collaborates very closely with senior leaders, with hiring managers, with the talent management organization and L1/L2 People Partners teams to understand talent needs, to align recruitment strategies to business objectives, to leverage succession planning and talent review insights and source the talent needed to strengthen the bench and to constantly improve the overall candidate and hiring experience. Candidate Sourcing and Assessment Develops sourcing capabilities to identify the talent with the right skills and experiences we need and partner with the talent & learning organization to ensure that the recruiting assessment tools, methodologies, interviewing panel frameworks and skills mapping, are aligned to HP’s talent management philosophy. Process Optimization Continuously evaluates and optimizes the executive recruiting process using technology to improve efficiency, quality, and performance metrics. Technology Integration Collaborates with the People Insights and Analytics and Systems Teams to integrate and optimize our recruiting tools and metrics. Partnership with Talent Management & Executive Onboarding Work closely with talent management and learning team to anticipate talent demands, to build robust pipelines of internal talent and identify and engage ready-now talent for higher level roles or enable more internal mobility at HP. Partner closely with Executive Onboarding and Executive Success to ensure an integrated onboarding and flawless integration that improves the time to productivity and effectiveness for the newly appointed leader. Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or organizational psychology; master’s degree preferred.10+ experience leading a global team delivering key company strategies.5+ years people management experienceStrong working knowledge and experience in a wide range of technologies associated with recruiting and HR management.Proficiency in Executive Recruiting, Talent Management & DEI strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.Values diverse thinking – excellent teamwork & collaboration skills exemplifying respect, integrity, and agility.Customer obsession – puts the customer first in the way we design, innovate, and develop our vision.Growth mindset – passionate about growing their own skills and the overall team’s skills.
