SummaryWorkiva is seeking a Finance Transformation Senior Manager to join the corporate accounting team. This individual will be responsible for working directly with all areas of the finance organization and across the organization in support of strategic finance initiatives and transformation, project management, and M&A integration. What You’ll DoThe Senior Manager of Finance Transformation’s responsibilities will vary over time but include:Lead eliminating manual work and improving processes by identifying and implementing state-of-the-art technology to support finance and accounting operations, including Record to Report, Treasury, Tax, Order to Cash, FP&A, Source to Pay, and Hire to RetireAssess end-to-end finance processes to identify improvement and automation opportunitiesUnderstand the current state of our finance tech stack and identify areas to integrate/improve our technology and process landscapeDemonstrate a strong passion for designing and implementing solutions using next-generation technology Work with cross-functional business and Finance System  teams to gather requirements, drive design, test solutions, build training, and lead implementation of identified technology solutionsWork with stakeholders and internal audit to implement controls during automation and/ or process changesSupport agile implementation of finance process automation; highlight risks/ issues and support mitigation/ resolutionAlign, deliver, and report progress on key process KPIsManage stakeholders to understand their requests, determine criticality, assess change impacts, and drive implementationDevelop an understanding of M&A integration strategy and develop and maintain a detailed integration plan for Accounting and FP&ADesign and implement Finance M&A integration governance model and reporting cadence; Facilitate Finance Integration project and steer meetingsUnderstand the impacts of M&A integration on end-to-end Finance processesWhat You'll NeedMinimum Qualifications8+ years of broad general business experience and knowledge across many disciplines including Accounting, FP&A, Benchmarking Performance, and Project ManagementBachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldPreferred Qualifications6 years of experience with a  Master’s degree; or a PhD with 4 years of experience3+ years of project management experienceDemonstrated experience and previous success leading transformative organizational work.Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across functions.Strong operational capability, with the ability to oversee the process to deliver projects, timelines, and budgets, and effective customer management skills.Highly collaborative, strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional team experience; ability to lead and influence within a matrix.Demonstrate agile thinking by easily shifting from business-focused conversations with a financial leader to a technology-focused conversation with a technology team.Ability to work globally and cross-functionally to lead change in a fast-paced environment.Travel RequirementMinimal travelWorking Conditions​Reliable internet access for any time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangementsHow You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $126,000.00 - $214,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
