SoundHound builds Voice AI products with conversational intelligence that’s more human. We support several languages and voice-enable everything from cars, devices, services, and apps, allowing our customers to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways.
We are looking for a Hindi-speaking software engineering werkstudent who is interested in creating user-friendly VoiceAI products using C++. You will learn and use the most advanced technologies in the fields of natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), natural language generation (NLG), speech technologies, and search technologies… all built in-house at SoundHound. Prior experience in these specialized fields is not required.

Our office is located at Dircksenstraße 3, 10179, Berlin. The compensation is €20 per hour.
In this role, you will:
Leverage your coding skills and your knowledge of the Hindi language
Work from a modern office near Alexanderplatz or remotely from home
Develop Conversational AI, leveraging a powerful domain-oriented development paradigm
Implement and scale the core code base, solving both algorithmic and design challenges
Write code that interacts with third-party API’s
Collaborate with engineers working on a variety of languages
We would love to hear from you if:
You have coding experience in C++ and at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, LUA, bash, etc)
You have native-level language skills in Hindi and are fluent in English
You are interested in learning while designing efficient architectures, algorithms, and interfaces
You enjoy working on hard open-ended challenges, and improving existing solutions
You’re comfortable working in a Linux environment
You are a current student in a German University
