What we are looking for:   Hotel Engine is seeking a driven and detail oriented Government Group Specialist to join our esteemed and fast-growing Groups team. As the Government Group Booking Specialist, you support our Government customers through the contracting and pre-check in phase of their booking journey. Your strategic approach, exceptional communication skills, and passion for customer success will be instrumental in maximizing group bookings. We are looking for experienced and detail oriented customer service professionals who are ready to manage multiple projects, make their mark at a high growth company and have experience in the Government sector.   In this role you will:   Be a champion advocate for your portfolio of Government customers through the full lifecycle of their booking needs. Manage numerous bookings simultaneously at various stages of the booking process. Collaborate with Group Sales Managers and customers to collect and execute hotel and customer contracts and billing with precision and accuracy. Support your customers rooming list collection and various group modification, addition and cancellation needs post booking to ensure a smooth check in experience. Be accountable to communicate and hold customer and hotels to various deadlines. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by maintaining open lines of communication, promptly addressing inquiries or concerns, and providing superior service throughout the booking process. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sourcing, group sales, member support and project recon to ensure seamless execution of group bookings. Learn and adapt quickly to new processes and tools implemented at a rapid scale. Here's what we're looking for:   3+ years in customer operations, service or contracting. Hotel industry or sales experience is a plus. 2+ years working in or supporting the Government sector. Familiarity with government travel requirements is a plus. Passion for helping Government clients simplify their group travel needs. Extremely organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, self-directed and resourceful professional ready to grow their careers in a highly competitive environment. Keen insight and ability to track customer patterns for retention and expansion of existing customer base. Ability to identify and take initiative to creatively solve for unique roadblocks. Cash compensation:    The starting salary is $55,000-$60,000 annually with opportunity for variable based on performance and an expected OTE of $80,000-$85,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above. Remote Opportunities:   This role is eligible for remote work. We are specifically seeking candidates based in Texas with the ability for occasional local travel. We are dedicated to providing top-tier support to our customers 7 days a week throughout the year. Due to the high demand nature of our business, this position may require additional hours outside standard working shifts; including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
