We combine modern machine learning approaches with geometric knowledge. Because we integrate tightly with the hardware platform and even influence its design, we are able to build products that are extremely fast, power efficient, and accurate. We are pursuing ground-breaking fundamental research to ship features that enrich the lives of our customers - such as Persona in  Vision Pro, Portrait mode, FaceTime Eye Contact, ARKit, Memoji. We are looking for an exceptional Machine Learning engineer with great coding skills to work on neural rendering. You will be working in a diverse, fast moving team in Zurich, Switzerland, and interact with teams around the globe. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications In depth understanding of 2D and 3D Computer Vision Experience in neural rendering Excellent software design, development and debugging skills Experience in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or similar) Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills Willingness to pick up novel tasks and acquire novel skills Strong written and verbal communication in English Description Description The candidate will be working on image analysis and generation to develop and improve neural rendering methods. This position will be part of our Machine Learning and Computer Vision research and development team in Zurich, combining modern machine learning approaches with geometric knowledge. Our work finds its way into the whole range of future Apple products. We are improving existing technology as well as developing completely new approaches to enhance the way we interact with devices. Because we integrate tightly with the hardware platform and even influence its design we are able to create products that are extremely fast, power efficient, and accurate.
