The ideal candidate will provide advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties with a strong focus on customer service. They will need to demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively within Software Engineering as well as cross-functionally across Apple to serve the needs of the business. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications At least 5 years experience providing administrative support to teams, preferably in a tech environment Strong organizational skills & constant attention to detail Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and follow through proactively Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Technically savvy, able to use and troubleshoot common programs & systems, experience with Mac and Apple productivity suite of tools a plus Able to adapt to new technologies quickly and easily Experience dealing with outside vendors and multiple internal stakeholders Description Description The candidate will represent SWE both internally and externally requiring a significant level of tact, diplomacy and discretion. The candidate must display a high level of professionalism across frequent interactions with individuals at all levels of the organization. This position requires someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and who projects a positive demeanor. This person is pro-active in nature and has an excellent sense of judgment while ensuring work is handled efficiently.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage a floor which includes, ordering and stocking office supplies, snacks, updating floor plans, submitting facilities and maintenance requests and acting as a security champion ensuring the safety of new products
- Manage employee relations budget for the team/organization in San Diego
- Coordinate/support on-site meetings and events, including room reservations, catering and AV requirements
- Assist in event planning and organize smaller individualized team building activities
- Organize new hire set-up which includes coordinating equipment, securing office space, and communicating with managers to ensure a smooth start for all new hires
- Manage purchasing for the engineering team
- Manage conference room calendars and upkeep of these shared spaces Education & Experience Education & Experience - AA or BA/BS degree preferred Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $29.90 and $44.90/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
