Key Qualifications Key Qualifications - Typically requires proven experience in technical product manufacturing, focus on machining (CNC/Lathing) fixture/Cutter design, program build and fine turn. Better to have some background of automation/Surface treatment(Ano/Plating). - Experienced in DFM/DOE/data analysis, Support Product Design team to optimize new design and develop process with vendor. - Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, know the GD&T - Better to have project management and vendor management experience, like yield improvement, cost reduction - Good oral and written communication skills, be open and willing to travel to our manufacturing facility up to 100% Description Description - To provide DFM, support product design team to optimize new design. Provide help in detailed assessments and critical design for manufacture reviews of engineering designs/drawings of components and assemblies.
- develop and qualify high precision CNC tooling and fixture. Have the capacity to assist in the manufacturability of a world-class device from new product introduction through mass production ramp.
- Provide technical support or guidance on machining(CNC/lathe) related FA and yield improvement activities.
- Help the team chip in on a wide range of manufacturability concepts, processes and materials during the design phase to define and eliminate manufacturing risks and assist the team to ensure the manufacturability of next generation devices.

Additional Requirements Additional Requirements - Hands on engineering role with experience in design for manufacturability or manufacturing engineering a plus. - Experience with machining process development such as fixture design and qualification, cutter design and cutter life qualify, machining program review and optimization. - Design for Manufacturability, Failure/Data Analysis, Design of Experiments and statistical analysis using Six Sigma principles. - NX CAD experience a plus. JMP & Six Sigma experience a plus.
