Job Requisition ID #23WD74143Position OverviewAutodesk's HCI & Visualization Research Group is looking for an experienced software engineer intern to help develop intelligent computing interfaces. You will help us develop research prototypes based on existing specification and creatively explore new specifications for a VR and generative AI interaction concept.ResponsibilitiesSupport our design efforts by developing software prototypes to test and explore conceptsExplore emerging technologies and novel Human-Computer Interfaces using Unity or Unreal EngineGather requirements and issues and turn them into actionable software featuresExplore and design alternative project directions, new prototyping frameworks and technologiesMinimum RequirementsPursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldExperience with rapid prototyping, programming, and modelling 3D graphicsUnderstanding of real-time engines: graphics, physics, tools, audio, networking, memory handling, scripting, I/OExperience using Python, C#, web development (using a modern stack), or C++General understanding of AI concepts and their useAbout the Canada Intern ProgramThe 2024 Canada program runs for 16 weeks (Jan 8th to April 26th for Winter Term and May 6th to August 23rd for Summer Term). As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
