Job Requisition ID #23WD74497Position OverviewAs an Intern in Autodesk's Legal, Government Affairs and Public Policy Group ("LGAPP"), you will work on a variety of legal issues in intellectual property, product development, mergers & acquisitions, e-commerce, compliance, data protection and privacy, commercial transactions, litigation, licensing, and marketing. You will collaborate with our LGAPP colleagues on projects designed to give you real-world, practical in-house experience with a global legal department.ResponsibilitiesResearch legal issues relating to technology topics such as cloud offerings, artificial intelligence, data protection and privacy, e-commerce, and software sales modelsDevelop and present recommendations on different legal issues to LGAPP colleagues and our business clientsAnalyze modern technology trends and legal practices, and conduct benchmarking analysesDraft a variety of agreements including non-disclosure agreements, consulting services agreements, sponsorship agreements, and technology licensing agreementsMinimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a JD degree program at an ABA accredited law schoolInterest in intellectual property, product development, mergers & acquisitions, e-commerce, compliance, data protection and privacy, commercial transactions, litigation, licensing, and marketingInterest in gaining experience in an in-house counsel roleAbout the US Intern ProgramThe U.S. program (Legal Division) runs from May 13 through July 26, 2023 for 11 weeks and will be hybrid (dividing time between home and our offices in San Francisco or Boston). All internships are paid.
