We develop software delivery systems and build the supporting systems infrastructure to support global manufacturing lines. We are looking for a Database Engineer proficient in building, recreating and maintaining various application environments. Ideal candidate will be a systems engineer at their core, with a deep interest and passion for automation and database technologies. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 5+ years RDBMS experience, e.g. MySQL, Postgres, RDS 5+ years experience with unix/linux database system administration in heterogeneous, distributed environments 5+ years experience with Shell scripting, such as bash, zsh, Perl, Python, or similar Experience migrating critical database applications from on-premise to hybrid or cloud environment Experience with database concepts, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Experience with high availability and disaster recovery Experience with infrastructure technologies/tools: Development environments - Docker, Vagrant, or similar Infrastructure technologies - Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, VMware Configuration management/Infrastructure as Code - Ansible, Puppet, Terraform Code Management and Continuous Integration - Jenkins, GitHub, or similar Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors --ADDITIONAL PLUS QUALIFICATIONS: System/application log management and analytics, e.g. Splunk, Cloudwatch, Grafana, Prometheus Experience in Identity and Access Management, including encryption Understanding and experience with networking concepts; hardware vs software defined networks, load balancers, etc. Proven track record to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies as required to support new collaborative projects Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Diligent in documentation of workflows and procedures Detailed in writing and validating run books Description Description • Architect, build and maintain:
