Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Practical knowledge of common data structures and algorithms. Understanding of ML Models and some LLM experience Understanding of high-level network protocols (HTTPS, protobuf, JSON). Understanding of distributed computing (load balancing, RPC, Map/Reduce, databases) Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. An appreciation for good API design. Ability to write correct, clear, and understandable code. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent communication and teamwork skills Description Description You will work in a multi-functional team which is developing software to run innovative machine learning systems in the cloud and on device. You are passionate about implementing performant ML based algorithms in a distributed system and keep up to date with best practices and new technologies. You will also work closely with ML engineers to ensure their algorithms can be deployed efficiently on device and in the cloud. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $198,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
