This role reports into the Global Information Services (GIS) team and acts as a strategic partner to the Company’s commercial team. As a Senior QA Analyst, you navigate Illumina’s web applications, pinpoint weak spots and continuously design innovative ways to identify potential problems. You'll have an enormous impact on the quality of Illumina’s web applications. You use your experience of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and various advanced quality concepts across products.Day to day work involves test plan documentation, writing test case automation scripts, test execution, bug reporting and working closely with scrum team of developers and business system analysts. This position demands an individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a team environment.You possess exceptional analytical skills in test case design and bug diagnosis. You are dynamic and prepared to test/regress a high volume of changes on a day-to-day basis. Demonstrate excellent bug reporting skills and communicate clearly with project and scrum teams.
