Join our Life Science and Healthcare team as the Sr. Director of Strategic Accounts where you will lead a high growth sales team for our Americas Strategic Accounts segment focusing on customer retention and new business growth. Strategically hire as revenue in the segment grows and implement a performance management program as needed to optimize team effectiveness.Leverage your experience and knowledge of selling across the life sciences value ecosystem including R&D and commercial to develop and lead a culture of high performance, client relationship, professional goal setting and forecasting.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments10+ years sales management experience leading an account team as a vendor to the life sciences industry.It would be great if you also have . . . Experience selling information services, strategic consulting, enterprise software or enterprise analytics Documented history of driving revenue growth within accounts/territories managed History of driving enterprise relationships with life sciences customers, eg success working with VP+ stakeholders to sell a range of services to life sciences customers across different business unitsKnowledge of forecasting, deal cadence and deal management principlesExperience and history of effective team performance management.What will you be doing in this role?Directly manage a team of about 8-9 individual contributor direct reports and a CSM team with a manager (2nd-line responsibility).Focus on both customer retention and new business growth within the 30-40 assigned strategic accounts.Lead the deployment of a new go-to-market business model with sellers focused on either R&D or commercialization solutions to provide focus and deeper penetration within assigned accounts.Support sellers in deal progression, contract negotiation and renewal discussions. Travel onsite to customer meetings as needed.Identify and implement growth drivers within assigned accounts to drive new business growth and overall revenue increases for each account and the segment itself.About the TeamOur LS&H vertical consists of pharma clients that subscribe to and acquire various Clarivate solutions including cutting edge workflow tools, data analytics and insights that are essential for advancement of innovation, R&D and Commercialization in Pharma & Biotech communities.
