We are looking for a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our Professional Services team in Singapore. This role works in a close, collaborative manner with System Librarians, Cloud Operations, and Product teams to provide the highest levels of customer service to Innovative customers.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fieldUnderstanding of XML, HTML, TCP/IP, Oracle DB and SQLKnowledge in computers and information systemsExperience with LinuxAt least 5 years’ experience in developing or supporting enterprise software using any of the following J2EE,JSON, REST API, XML, Spring, Ruby, Oracle, Postgres databases, SQL, Apache and Tomcat web servers, Bash andShellscript Linux scripting, Kubernetes and AWS cloud setup, OpenSSL, etcExperience working as Tier 1 level support and/or helpdesk functionIt would be great if you are . . .  Working in library information technology industryWhat will you be doing in this role? Serve as a first line of technical Support for Polaris and Vega ILS customersProvide emergency response support (in Site Down/Critical situations)Perform product configuration based on customer requirements including attending to customer service requestChange or fine-tune System related parametersPerform problem analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrenceProvide technical solutionsInteract with internal departments (development, cloud, etc.) and customerBecome a knowledge domain expert for Polaris and Vega softwareProvide online and/or on-site assistance and training to customersAbout the Team  Global Professional Services teams are experts in product and project implementations.
