Echodyne is seeking a Senior Product Manager with experience in complex hardware and software products to join our team working in a fast-paced environment developing high-performance commercial radar solutions.
The Senior Product Manager will help develop the radar software roadmap and act as the voice of the customer, developing clear product requirements and championing the product vision across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage with external customers, partners, and radar integrators to understand exact use cases
Collaborate with customers and technical teams to define radar software app and feature roadmaps that align with business needs
Prioritize and group features to align with product release cycles
Create detailed and effective functional requirements for application and embedded SW releases
Clarify and communicate the “What” and the “Why” across the organization
Serve as the voice of the customer to represent their interests throughout the product development cycle
Collaborate with the development team to write, review, and iterate design documents and task descriptions to ensure architectural consistency, product quality, and a rapid release cadence
Work with program management office to ensure and maintain the soundness of the program plan, risk, timelines, and costs
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Solutions Engineering in the feature go-to-market process
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Experience working with complex software-defined hardware such as sensors, radios, or autonomous platforms
Experience in software development best practices and tools for tracking development and for capturing requirements, experience with JIRA, Confluence, and JAMA preferred
Capability of understanding complex technical problems to simplify experiences, and innovate on behalf of users
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team
Ability to analyze complex requirements, workflows, and problems to develop and communicate rational execution plans
Experience in bringing products to market and managing the overall product life-cycle
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)
Experience with the development of User Interfaces for controlling complex systems and display of real-time data
Radar systems and signal processing background or similar experience in fields such as LIDAR, ultrasound imaging, or Sonar, etc.
Experience with deployment of radar or other mission critical systems in commercial and/or DoD end-user solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, other technical degree or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of experience working with software engineering teams in a hands-on capacity as a product manager

WHAT WE OFFER The pay range for this position is $117,500 to $176,250 annually.
