Description:
The Part-Time Temporary Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an office and promoting a positive company culture. The role involves taking care of visitors, office areas, and employee wellness. This person will be expected to be onsite at our Fremont office Monday to Friday from approximately 11:30am – 6pm.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Welcome visitors & vendors, providing broad support and direction
Stock and organize break room snacks, beverages, and supplies
Oversee daily lunch catering delivery
Maintain office common areas, keeping a welcoming and comfortable environment for employees & guests
Maintain 2 company breakrooms, ensuring things are clean and plants are cared for
Receive, sort & ship mails/packages
Ensure office is well stocked with stationary supplies
Act as a catalyst for positive company culture by planning company events, workplace initiatives, ensuring employee satisfaction.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant, preferably within a fast-paced startup work environment
Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
Hands-on experience with office machines (example fax machines and printers)
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvement
The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30 per hour. Our ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hires but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
