The Technology Development Group is seeking an engineer to implement various aspects of the system experience, with a focus on user interaction. This engineer will be responsible for software that guides users through various aspects of configuring systems for their needs. Being successful in this area will result in a delightful experience for all users of our products. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Experience developing software frameworks and APIs Understanding of inter-process communication and systems development Some experience developing user interfaces Knowledgable about system level programming concepts Strong command of object-oriented programming (C / C++ / Obj-C / Swift preferred) Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience writing unit tests to ensure a high quality end product Ability to take high level requirements and turn them into deliverable code Description Description We are a team of architects and specialists who are looking for an individual to help build frameworks and system interface elements. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in addition to an interest in creating foundational frameworks and APIs. You should be comfortable participating in architecture discussions, taking ownership of specific problem areas, articulating design choices, and delivering highly optimized code in performance-critical environments.
In this role you will work closely with other engineers who are developing system frameworks and interfaces. Your software will integrate with a much larger code base, which will provide a cohesive experience for all users of our products. You will also interact with quality assurance engineers to ensure the right test plans and user scenarios are implemented. You will be responsible for development, testing, performance optimization, and overall quality of the software you develop. Education & Experience Education & Experience BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree, or equivalent years of experience. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $55.81 and $84.08/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
