You’ll collaborate with teams across Apple to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products. The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the design, development, and innovation of camera hardware for all related Apple products. Our target is to deliver superior camera hardware to enable best-in-class camera user experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, high energy individual who can help us with tomorrow’s challenges. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Good EE fundamentals and excellent critical thinking skills. Hands on with Python/MATLAB instrumentation, automation and data collection/analysis. Knowledge of high speed interface (e.g. MIPI, PCIe, DP, HDMI, USB), control interface (I2C, SPI, SPMI) and power circuits (linear regulator, SMPS). Skillful on various measurement equipment such as: oscilloscope, power supply, power analyzer, spectrum analyzer, VNA, BERT, function generators, protocol analyzers, etc. Good understanding of electrical noise, conducted and field coupling mechanisms Capable of leading different projects in parallel. Excellent process development and documentation skills. Must be extremely accurate and diligent in measurements and record keeping. Excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of CMOS image sensor and camera module. Knowledge of camera module integration. Description Description -Investigating and proposing electrical solutions for camera modules & sub-system integration.
-Join in early stage product scoping, technology development and board/sub-system bring up.
-Collaborate with design engineer to define validation plan and create test cases for full product validation -with emphasis at the electrical level.
-Assist design engineer for problem solving and design optimization.
-Board level electrical validation and performance characterization.
-Conduct data analysis and document results. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
