Your work will play a crucial role in influencing our flagship GPU and software roadmaps, enabling major customer wins, and advancing our mission to fulfill the promise and future of AI.What You'll Be Doing:Grow and develop a world-class deep learning teamPlan, schedule, mentor and lead the execution of multiple projects and initiativesCollaborate closely with hardware, software, and research teams to assess and adopt deep learning algorithmic advancements in sparsity and quantizationAccelerate and support customer adoption of novel AI algorithms leveraging state-of-the-art HW and SW capabilitiesFoster an environment of growth and innovationEnsure that all projects align with NVIDIA's strategic goals and contribute to our leadership in the AI spaceWhat We Need to See:A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math or a related field, or equivalent experience.A strong foundation in deep learning, specifically in quantization, numerics, and sparsity4+ years of experience in a leadership role within the AI or deep learning domain. 8+ overall years of software development experience. Familiarity with computer architecture and how it relates to AI algorithm developmentA proven track record of successful collaboration across multiple groups and leadership levelsExceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on consensus-building and cooperative problem-solvingExperience recruiting, training and leading multiple software engineering and algorithm projects/teams, combined with a track-record of mentoring and developing talent within your teamWays to Stand Out From the Crowd:Published research or significant contributions to the field of AI, particularly in algorithm development for hardware-software co-design.Previous experience working directly with AI hardware and software development teams.Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex projects to completion.A charismatic leader who inspires innovation and drives the team towards achieving NVIDIA's vision.As Nvidia makes inroads into the Datacenter business, our team plays a central role in getting the most out of our exponentially growing datacenter deployments as well as establishing a data-driven approach to hardware design and system software development.
