Our innovative lineup has received several awards, including the prestigious Emmy and the Oscar.Role OverviewThe Z by HP Solutions Product Planner is a new role within the Workstation Product Planning organization and is dedicated to creating innovative solutions and services for our high-performance compute customers in M&E, PD&M and AEC. As Solution Product Planner, you will be responsible for developing the vision, roadmap, and definition of software products that integrate with our world class workstations to form differentiated solutions that solve customer pain points throughout the entire customer journey of Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in defining requirements for solutions, possess a strong understanding of system architectures and how cloud API keys work and excel as a communicator.Success of the business and individual will depend on close collaboration with Desktop and Mobile Workstation Product Planners, R&D, Data Science and Edge Teams, HP Anyware Product Management, HP Services, Sales/Category/Markets, World Wide Marketing, and Finance.This position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado; Palo Alto, CA; or Houston, TX.Key responsibilities for this role include:Own Product definition (Market Requirements Document) and execution for AI based workflow optimization solutions that when combined with our world class workstations, result in differentiated customer experiences. Use data and telemetry to create AI related SW optimization solutionsCollaborate with ISVs to ensure software architecture enables plug and play functionality for enhanced customer workflow experience.Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis and customer journey mapping to identify market opportunities, customer pain points (Moments of Truth), and areas of differentiation for new solutions Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements by regularly meeting with End Users, ITDMs, and Channel Partners to map the end to end customer journey. Define and articulate a clear product vision aligned with the ACS's overall strategic goals, staying up to date with industry trends and customer needs to continuously enhance the product roadmap.Communicate feature prioritization, timelines, and acceptance criteria to engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product development.Champion user-centric design principles to deliver an intuitive and delightful user experience, working closely with product designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and UI/UX improvements.Support product marketing and sales teams with the development of effective Go-to-Market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement materials.Define and track key product performance metrics. Analyze data to gain insights into user behavior and product usage, using this information to guide future product improvements.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a technical field, MS or MBA preferredMinimum of 10 years' experience as a technical product manager: developing and launching solutions that involve both hardware and software components.Proficiency in applying design thinking principles to enhance the user experience and product designKnowledge of agile principles and practices, with experience in agile product development and backlog managementUnderstand fundamental AI concepts, machine learning algorithms, and how they can be applied to AI-based optimization softwareFamiliarity with the technical aspects of application and device performance optimizationUnderstand manageability and remote compute fundamentalsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to interact with all levels of the company, including senior managementThe ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions aligned with strategic business goalsA passion for innovation and a willingness to explore emerging technologies and trends, adapting them within an agile frameworkWorking knowledge of business plan fundamentalsStrong influencing and consensus-building skillsHP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $108,050.00 -- $171,200.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
