We're searching for a Staff Product Designer to join our team in Hyderabad, India.Here, within the IMS division of Broadcom, we are evolving how we work and how our customers use our software. In the paradigm of agile, teams want to know how what they are doing impacts the organization and want to commit to and deliver value to customers while continuously improving. We are creating software to deliver on these objectives by iterating quickly, continuously testing ideas and solutions with customers, and delivering software that customers want.As a Staff UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for strategic and tactical design projects that address current and future needs of our users. This is a mid-level practitioner role with opportunities to grow as a designer, steer product direction, and collaborate across boundaries. In this role you can expect to:Develop a broad and deep understanding of our primary users, their jobs to be done, and the workflows and capabilities that are most important to them.Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts. Iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing results.Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather insights and validate design decisions. These sessions should involve internal and external stakeholders.Ensure designs are responsive and provide a consistent experience across various devices and screen sizes.Build strong, collaborative relationships with Product Managers, Engineering, Documentation, Support, and Customers.Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides and design patterns. Provide support and guidance to development teams during implementation.Internalize the long-term ITOM vision, think holistically about the product and its place in our customers’ businesses, and have an influential voice in the ITOM product roadmap.Work in cadence with our mature Agile teams, embracing a mindset of rapid learning, experimentation, iteration, and close collaboration.Thrive in an environment that balances autonomy with teamwork, rewards divergent as well as convergent thinking, and values your participation in long-term and short-term product decisions.Skills & experienceTo qualify for this position, you must have:BA/BS degree with eight (8) years UX design experience, or MA/MS with three (3) years of UX experience, or a PhD.
